Electrotherapy & Physical Modalities

Electrotherapy and physical modalities may be used as part of a physiotherapy program when clinically appropriate.

These modalities are selected according to the patient's condition, treatment goals, and clinical assessment.

Our physiotherapy services may include:

• TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) – used as a supportive modality for pain management.

• Therapeutic Ultrasound – may be used as part of treatment for selected soft-tissue and musculoskeletal conditions.

Ultrasound-assisted therapy that uses sound waves to support the delivery of selected topical agents through the skin and to help relieve localized pain and soft-tissue discomfort when clinically indicated.

Other Physiotherapy Instruments

Our physiotherapy services may also include supportive modalities such as therapeutic ultrasound, laser therapy, magnetic field therapy, sonophoresis, and hot/cold packs, as clinically appropriate.

These modalities are used as adjunctive treatments to support pain management, reduce discomfort, and facilitate recovery as part of an individualized physiotherapy program.

Sonophoresis: Uses therapeutic ultrasound to assist the topical application and absorption of selected preparations through the skin when clinically indicated.

Hot and Cold Packs: Provide thermal therapy that may help manage pain, muscle tension, and swelling according to the patient's condition and treatment needs.
